How flipped text works
Each letter is replaced with a character that looks like it turned over, such as ɐ for a and ǝ for e, and the order is reversed. Some capitals have no exact flipped version, so the closest look-alike is used.
How Unicode text styles work
These are not installed fonts. Each style swaps ordinary letters for look-alike characters from the Unicode standard, such as the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block. Because they are characters, not formatting, you can copy and paste them into any app that accepts text.
Not every app or older phone has every symbol. If a character shows up as an empty box, pick a different style. Screen readers may read some styles letter by letter or skip them, so keep your name and key words in plain text and use styled text for accents.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I flip text back?
Paste the flipped text into the box and it flips again, which brings back most letters.
Is this font generator free?
Yes. It is free, runs in your browser, and needs no account. Nothing you type is sent to a server.
Why do some letters look normal?
Some styles have no Unicode version for certain characters, such as accented letters, emoji or punctuation, so those stay as they are.
