LinkedIn Sizes and Character Limits

LinkedIn uses different dimensions for personal profile covers, profile photos, company Page covers and video, while text fields such as headlines and posts have separate character limits. This hub collects the current official LinkedIn specifications and links to the existing LinkedIn post-limit guide rather than creating duplicate routes.
Images
- LinkedIn Banner Size — Use 1584 × 396 px for a personal LinkedIn profile cover image, in JPG or PNG and under 8 MB.
- LinkedIn Profile Picture Size — Use a square LinkedIn profile photo at 400 × 400 px or larger.
Video
- LinkedIn Video Size — LinkedIn video resolution can range from 256 × 144 to 4096 × 2304 pixels, with aspect ratios from 1:2.4 to 2.4:1.
Text limits
- LinkedIn Headline Character Limit — The LinkedIn profile headline limit is 220 characters.
